Tucked away in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Pedigo Submission Fighting (PSF) has become a legendary name in the world of Jiu-Jitsu. Known affectionately as “Daisy Fresh”—a nod to the old laundromat where it all began—the gym quickly gained worldwide recognition. Under the guidance of coach Heath Pedigo, athletes from across the globe flocked to train on those humble mats, chasing greatness while living the grind.
Their relentless pursuit of success, captured in Daisy Fresh: An American Jiu-Jitsu Story by FloGrappling, chronicled the team’s rise from sleeping in the gym to becoming one of the most feared and respected squads in professional Jiu-Jitsu.
Now, the legacy expands. For the first time ever, an official PSF affiliate has opened its doors—led by none other than Jorge Valladares, one of the original “Daisy Fresh Boys.” From Mt. Vernon to North Texas, Jorge continues the American Jiu-Jitsu story, carrying the same grit, passion, and underdog spirit that made Daisy Fresh a worldwide phenomenon.
