(FORT WORTH, Texas) – Dollamur Sport Surfaces (Dollamur) – the world's leading manufacturer of high-performance sports flooring for martial arts, mixed martial arts, wrestling, gymnastics, cheerleading and yoga – today launches its #MatMoment contest to support American mixed martial artist (MMA) and former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight Champion Johny ""Bigg Rigg"" Hendricks.
Social media users are asked a simple question: ""What is Your #MatMoment?"" This memory could be winning a competition, training for a big event, or something as simple as a daily exercise routine. For example, Hendricks' #MatMoment was capturing the UFC Welterweight title in 2014 at UFC 171 over Robbie Lawler.
"I am excited to collaborate with Dollamur to launch this campaign, which aims to generate awareness of MMA and wrestling through social media users sharing fond memories from the mat," says Hendricks, a native of Ada, Okla. "From the first time an athlete steps foot on a high-quality Dollamur surface, moments are made and they deserved to be shared with other competitors.”
To kick off its contest, Dollamur is offering a grand prize trip to Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas which includes a meet-and-greet with Hendricks and a complimentary MMA lesson. Additional weekly prizes, such as autographed memorabilia, will be awarded to contestants based on originality and impact of a message. A panel of judges will utilize this criterion to determine winners.
