A fitness floor has a harder job than most people give it credit for.
It has to absorb a dropped kettlebell and a burpee, grip a lateral shuffle, stay comfortable under a forearm plank, wipe clean between classes, and look sharp enough that members notice the space. Most gym flooring is optimized for exactly one of those.
Dollamur builds surfaces engineered to support safer, smarter fitness training — and a different surface for each kind of space. Here is the full lineup.
1. FLEXI-Roll® Mat — Vinyl Flooring
The all-purpose fitness surface: closed-cell, cross-linked core foam with a biocidal-treated vinyl top.
Specifications
| Foam Core | Closed-cell, cross-linked |
| Surface | Biocidal-treated vinyl — Smooth or Hybrid Tatami |
| Shock Absorption | Tested to ASTM F1081 / F355 |
| Colors | 14 smooth, 8 Hybrid Tatami |
| Warranty | 5-year limited |
Choosing your surface
Smooth vinyl is the versatile default — a clean, classic finish for multi-use training areas. It is a textured smooth surface, fine enough to read as flat but providing the traction members need to plant and change direction. It wipes down fast between classes and handles equipment traffic.
Hybrid Tatami is engineered to balance grip and comfort. Its low-profile texture provides stable, reliable traction while reducing excess friction during floor-based movement — which is why it works as well for functional training and floor work as it does for martial arts.

Colors
Smooth (14): Navy, Red, Royal Blue, Black, Light Gray, Charcoal Gray, Carolina Blue, Purple, Brown, Gold, Dark Green, Maroon, White, Orange. Hybrid Tatami (8): Black, Royal Blue, Gold, White, Charcoal Gray, Light Green, Red, and Light Gray.
All PMS-specified for consistency across reorders and product lines.

FLEXI-Connect® — Built-In Connection, Virtually Seamless
FLEXI-Connect® is a Dollamur innovation, developed in-house and patented: a tapeless mat surface system with the connection built directly into the roll edges.

- Easy to clean and maintain.
- Eliminates mat gaps.
- No additional hardware or tools required to install.
- Reduces setup and tear-down time to minutes.

2. Woodgrain Roll Flooring — Designed for Yoga & Wellness Spaces
For studios that want the look of wood with the performance of an athletic floor.
Dollamur’s yoga flooring provides a stable, supportive base that lets clients focus on balance, movement, and breathing rather than the floor underneath them.
Specifications
| Color | Woodgrain — Sandalwood |
| Roll Widths | 4’ 10” and 6’ |
| Surface | Thick, durable vinyl |
| Foam | High-performance athletic foam |
Benefits:
- Quick and easy installation
- Shock absorption
- Anti-slip and cleans easily
- Thick, durable vinyl designed for long-lasting performance
- High-performance athletic foam for exceptional joint support
That last point is the one studios underrate. A wood-look floor over a hard subfloor gives you the aesthetic and none of the joint protection. This gives you both — which matters for a studio running back-to-back classes where members are spending real time on their knees, hands, and forearms.
Two roll widths mean flexible installation around the odd dimensions most studio spaces actually have.
3. Yoga & Pilates Tile Mats — Hybrid Tatami
For studios that want modular flooring they can configure and expand.
Specifications
| Sizes | 1m x 1m and 1m x 2m |
| Thickness | 4 cm |
| Surface | Hybrid Tatami |
| Colors | 6 — Black, Royal Blue, Gold, Charcoal Gray, Light Green, Red |
| Warranty | 5-year limited |
Hybrid Tatami vs. traditional tatami
Hybrid Tatami is engineered to balance grip and comfort. Its low-profile texture provides stable, reliable traction for yoga while reducing excess friction during floor-based movement.
That is the specific problem it solves: traditional tatami texture grips well and abrades skin. For a practice where members spend long stretches in direct contact with the floor — forearms, knees, shins, the tops of the feet — that friction is the thing that makes a class uncomfortable. Hybrid Tatami minimizes mat burn and skin irritation without sacrificing stability, which supports exercises requiring both direct mat contact and a balance of comfort and control.
These tile mats are also commonly used for Pilates flooring.

4. FLEXI-Roll® Carpet Bonded Foam
Where the work is running, landing, and floor-based conditioning, carpet is the better surface.
Specifications
| Surface | Durable 26 oz. athletic carpet |
| Standard Roll | 6’ width x 42’ length |
| Foam Options | Tri-Flex® EVA foam or standard cross-linked polyethylene foam |
| Origin | Made in the USA |
| Warranty | 3-year limited (carpet logos, 1 year) |
| Colors | 9 |

Dollamur’s 26 oz. athletic carpet has a real carpet-like texture — genuinely thick and dense, not the coarse fiber found on many carpet-topped mats. That matters in a fitness setting more than people expect: members doing planks, sit-ups, stretching, core work, and partner conditioning spend most of a class in direct contact with the floor. A wiry, abrasive fiber leaves skin red after ten minutes. A genuinely soft surface makes that whole portion of the class comfortable instead of something people rush through.
Colors: Red, Navy Blue, Black, Light Gray, Charcoal Gray, Purple, Teal, Spring Blue, Green.
Where it fits: conditioning areas, agility and plyometric zones, bodyweight work, group training floors, active gaming, climbing gyms, and recreation facilities.
5. Wall & Post Padding
FLEXI-Wall Pads®
| Height | 6’ standard |
| Thicknesses | 1-1/4”, 1-5/8”, 1-7/8” |
| Surface | Biocidal-treated smooth or Hybrid Tatami vinyl |
| Colors | (See the colors for FLEXI-Roll® & FLEXI-Connect® Vinyl Mats) |
| Installation | Hook-and-loop fasteners with adhesive backing |
| Custom Minimum | 36 linear feet |

FLEXI-Post Pads®
| Height | 6’ standard |
| Maximum perimeter | 14” |
| Shapes | Square and hexagon |
| Thicknesses | 1-1/4” and 1-7/8” |
| Surface | Smooth or Hybrid Tatami vinyl |
Closed-cell foam wall & post padding provides superior shock absorption, and you can add your facility’s logo and lettering with Dollamur Digital printing.
Wood-Back Panel Wall Pads & Column Pads
The rigid, permanent option.
Construction, front-to-back: 18 oz. high-temp resistant vinyl surface → flame-retardant foam cushioning → high-strength vinyl adhesive → 7/16” OSB backing for durable stability.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the best flooring for a fitness gym? It depends on the zone. FLEXI-Roll® vinyl flooring is the versatile default for functional training — durable, easy to wipe down, available in smooth or Hybrid Tatami. Carpet-bonded foam suits conditioning, agility, and plyometric areas. Woodgrain roll flooring and tile mats suit yoga and Pilates studios. Most facilities run more than one.
- What flooring should I use for a yoga studio? Two options. Woodgrain roll flooring gives you a wood look with real shock absorption and joint support, in 4’ 10” and 6’ roll widths, with a woodgrain vinyl surface that can withstand daily use. Yoga and Pilates tile mats are modular 1m x 1m and 1m x 2m pieces in 4 cm Hybrid Tatami, available in 6 colors with a 5-year limited warranty.
- What is Hybrid Tatami, and why use it for yoga? Hybrid Tatami is a low-profile textured vinyl surface engineered to balance grip and comfort. It provides stable traction for yoga while reducing the excess friction that causes skin irritation during floor-based movement — which matters when members spend long stretches in direct contact with the floor.
- What is the difference between the vinyl surfaces? Smooth vinyl is a textured smooth finish — a clean, classic look for versatile training areas, easy to wipe down. Hybrid Tatami has a low-profile texture that provides reliable traction while reducing friction during floor work. Both are anti-microbial vinyl over a closed-cell, cross-linked foam core.
- Do the wall pads match the flooring? Yes. FLEXI-Wall Pads® and FLEXI-Post Pads® come in the same anti-microbial smooth and Hybrid Tatami vinyl surfaces, in PMS-specified colors that match the mats.
- Can I buy puzzle mats directly online? Yes. 3/4” mats are available on the website in 9-piece bundles, in both solid and reversible color options. Thicker and additional reversible options are available through a bulk quote request.
- Can I put my gym’s logo on the floor? Yes. Dollamur offers both hand-painted and digitally printed logos, lettering, and graphics, with PMS color matching and an in-house design team, across mats, wall pads, and pole pads.
