Dollamur Sport Surfaces (Dollamur) – the world’s leading manufacturer and distributor of high-performance sport surfaces for wrestling, martial arts, gymnastics, cheerleading, and fitness – was selected and served as the Official Mat supplier to USA Wrestling’s new championship series, Final X.

The Seymour wrestling program received some big news prior to the turn of the new year. In 2019, the high school and middle school program will each get new mats.

At the peak of any training season common rashes and infections will occur on sport surfaces. Through-out regular training, mats should be cleaned daily to prevent what is commonly referred to as “Mat Funk,” a combination of infectious conditions such as ring worm, herpes simplex, impetigo, staph infections/MRSA and scabies.

As part of Dollamur's 20th anniversary, we wanted to give something back to the wrestling community. We searched for the most deserving wrestling program we could find. Coaches, athletes, and parents from around the country sent in pictures and explanations as to why their program was the most deserving of a new wrestling room. With multiple entries for St. Amant high school, they were chosen as one of the finalists. We then asked the wrestling community to vote for the finalist they found most deserving. With the highest number of votes, St. Amant was chosen as our Mat Moment winner. The St. Amant Gators received new FLEXI-Connect® wrestling mats and FLEXI-Roll® wall pads for their wrestling room. Dollamur, the Official Mat of USA Wrestling, has announce a brand new partnership with New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA). Dollamur Sport Surfaces will serve as the Official Wrestling Mat Partner for the years 2020 through 2022.

California Interscholastic Federation has announced their renewed partnership with Dollamur Sport Surfaces. Dollamur has, once again, been named the Official Sponsor of the California Interscholastic Federation Boys and Girls Wrestling Championships and, for the first time ever, CIF Competitive Cheerleading. We are proud to continue our relationship with CIF and help support their interscholastic athletes by promoting equity, quality, character and academic development.
