Smart Playrooms is a designing company that specializes in designing safe playrooms and play spaces to be enjoyed by kids, families and adults alike! They have been trusting Dollamur to meet their safety and aesthetic requirements in their designs since they were introduced to our brand.
We asked Karri how she started Smart Playrooms – “I am the owner and Founder of Smart Playrooms. I have spent the last 10 years revolutionizing the way kids play in the playroom. I left my teaching job 10 years ago, with the idea to change the way kids play in their playrooms at home. I am contacted by families around the world who are looking for help creating engaging spaces for their children.”

When we found Dollamur mats, we were ecstatic because we found something that works well, looks beautiful and is easy to customize. Unlike many other businesses, Smart Playrooms has been thriving during this global COVID-19 pandemic due to families spending ample amounts of time at home! Karri says. “We feel so grateful as CoVid has really fueled our playroom business. Many families are home and are rethinking their play and homework areas for their children. We offer 3 E-design services to clients around the world (Just had a E-Design clients in Saudi Arabia and in Switzerland!). We are so happy to be able to offer Dollamur mats to everyone!” They have had a few things change due to the pandemic. Karri continued by explaining, “We are doing more and more virtual E-Designs for families as this provides a no-contact design process which is safe and beautiful for everyone. We are also selling so many of our products so clients had DIY design their own Smart Playrooms with the products that we sell on our site!”
Karri has designed gorgeous playrooms for families all around the world – “One of the best things I did was turn my own garage into a kid/adult gym and yoga studio last year. I added the gray Dollamur mat wall to wall on the floor and it looks beautiful and I am on it every day doing yoga!!
