The United States Gymnastics Suppliers Association (USGSA) is an organization of member companies who supply high quality products and services to the gymnastics industry. Dollamur has been a member at USGSA for over 20 years and taken leadership positions by engaging new members and forming personal relationships within – Specifically with Dollamur’s Sales Manager of Cheerleading/Gymnastics, Alicia Bruce.

Secretary of USGSA, Stacie Hansen, took some time to chat with the Dollamur marketing team and give us some insight on how USGSA is pushing forward during the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic and how they’re continuing to thrive and support their members.

Stacie has been a USGSA member for 7 years, helping to gather a synergy of suppliers to help improve the experience for gym owners, coaches and athletes through their equipment purchasing process. USGSA is a gymnastics equipment supplier, offering everything from mats to beams and vaults to gyms across the nation.

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, USGSA is working daily to continue to support members and the gymnastics industry overall. Stacie stated, “We haven’t had many members drop away from USGSA, which is a big deal since the gymnastics equipment industry has suffered due to the pandemic.” She also added that, “our end of the industry is suffering but the gyms and gym owners are suffering as well and we’re doing all that we can to support them.”

To add to their strides to work against COVID-19, Stacie added, “Gym’s have been implementing more cleaning strategies, along with social distancing strategies, into their gyms and USGSA has been supplying tools that are helpful – such as Dollamur’s colored gymnastics boundary hook tape to create lines on carpet mats!”

Another thing that USGSA is doing to accommodate members and employees through COVID-19 is that they’ve turned to virtual Zoom meetings – This is keeping individuals safe and distanced but it is also proving to be even more efficient for USGSA and their members! Stacie added the statement, “I can foresee us integrating the virtual meetings well beyond the pandemic because they’ve been so helpful to our teams that are stretched across the country.”

USGSA has made many notable contributions to the gymnastics industry. Stacie states, “We hold each other accountable, at USGSA, to be the best that we can be for our industry. - The way we do that is by giving back to clubs and club owners. We communicate with the industry as a whole and have the top 40 equipment, mat and flooring manufacturers in the industry to provide the best possible knowledge to members of our gymnastics community.”

USGSA’s National Congress is coming up in June of 2021 and plans right now are that the event will continue on as planned - but many other events will now be made virtual or are going to be put on hold.
