This easy-to-use, air-dry formula softens the vinyl surface and creates a strong, long-lasting bond once fully cured. Repairs made with VLP® are durable and can be even stronger than the original vinyl. It can also reinforce sewn vinyl seams when applied to the backside during manufacturing.

How to Repair Your Vinyl Mat with VLP

Repairing punctures or small tears in your Dollamur vinyl mats is simple when you follow these steps.

Supplies Needed:
• Scissors
• Vinyl mat tape patch
• VLP adhesive in a small squirt bottle
• Scraper
• Matte edge sealer (optional for finishing)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Prepare the Patch: Cut the vinyl tape to cover the damaged area. Round the corners to prevent snags or peeling.
2. Apply the Patch: Place the tape directly over the hole or puncture. Smooth out any air bubbles with the scraper to ensure full contact.
3. Seal the Edges: Carefully apply VLP® adhesive along the edges of the tape using the squirt bottle. This ensures a secure, long-lasting bond.
4. Allow to Dry: Let the VLP® fully air-dry before using the mat. The repair will create a durable, strong finish.

Pro Tip: Avoid spilling VLP® on surrounding areas, as it may slightly discolor the vinyl surface.

Safety & Precautions

When using VLP®, keep the following in mind:

• Flammable: Keep away from heat, sparks, and open flames.
• Eye & Skin Irritation: Avoid contact with eyes or prolonged skin exposure. Wear protective gloves and eyewear if needed.
• Ventilation: Use in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling fumes.
• First Aid: If VLP® gets on skin, rinse thoroughly with water. If it gets in eyes, rinse carefully for several minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
• Storage: Keep containers tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place.
